Students and staff from New Caney Elementary were recognized for their outstanding service at the NCISD Board of Trustees meeting on November 17, 2025. 

New Caney Elementary Principal, Racquel Sessa, and the Board of Trustees recognized Kayla Green (Outstanding Teacher), Olga Lopez (Outstanding Paraprofessional), Idalia Lima (Outstanding Custodian), Kimberly Kinn (Outstanding Child Nutrition Employee), and Guadalupe Soto (Outstanding Student).
