![New Legislation—Parents Must Provide Consent for Students to Receive Health Services]([{"url":"https://resources.finalsite.net/images/v1756398170/newcaneyisdorg/ukomnra4vzy5kqrcm21z/HealthServicesHeadline.svg","width":800}])
In accordance with Texas Senate Bill 12, 89th Texas Legislature, which goes into effect on September 1, 2025, the district is required to provide notice of each health-related service offered at a student’s campus. Each school year, parents must provide consent in order for their student to receive health related services during the school day.
